About Me
Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was a little boy growing up in the suburbs of Long Island. Starting off with a Kodak 110 camera in the 70’s I began exploring the world through a lens. As a teenager I graduated to a 35mm when I received a Pentax K1000 as a Christmas gift which I still have and use today. I immediately enrolled in a high school photography class where my love and appreciation for the art grew even stronger. For a long time in my 20’s and 30’s, photography took a back burner as I tried to navigate through life until the acquisition of my first Digital SLR in 2005. This was short lived, however, when less than a year later, just a couple of months after moving to Colorado, my car was broken into in downtown Denver and sadly my camera was stolen. It was back to the point-and-shoots and cell phone cameras until my passion was reignited recently with the purchase of a used Nikon D90. Now my camera is with me everywhere I go as I document life through a lens.
